CAMPGROUND REVIEW
Did you know you can use your employer EAP service to locate campgrounds for you? Well I did. Need to have a list of campgrounds in the Des Moines IA area that rented by the month, and were open year round. This is because we knew we were on the transplant list and that call could come at anytime and we would have to drive 5 hours to get to IA and would be staying a month. My employers EAP service did the leg work and gave me a list of 4 that met my needs.

Owners are fantastic! they made accommodations to meet our needs to stay for a month. Nothing fancy, but easy in and out and close to everything. Big Rig friendly, clean bathrooms, pool and dog park.

Perfect family Friendly campground! Lots of stuff for the kiddos. Adult fun with fishing, river kayaks, tubes and more. Not too far from the highway and not far from the New Glarus brewery.
